About this camp
One of the longer-established schools on this coast, running at the south end of Playa Jacó since 2007 and priced with unusual clarity: private, semi-private and group-of-three-or-more lessons each carry their own per-person dollar figure, and every lesson is a two-hour session timed to the tide rather than to a fixed timetable. Instructors are ISA-certified and independent reviewers repeatedly describe a personal instructor per student, which is a stronger claim than the group pricing implies — worth confirming which you are buying. Beyond lessons it sells retreats bundling beachfront lodging with ocean views, unlimited board access, professional photography, airport transfers, yoga and — unusually — apnea workshops, which is breath-hold training rather than surfing and a genuine differentiator for anyone nervous about hold-downs. Costa Rica's Pacific dry season runs roughly Dec–Apr. Honest caveats: the retreat is described but not priced, so only the lesson prices are recorded here and no weekly figure is claimed; room types are not published beyond 'beachfront lodging'; and the camp's own site carries no explicit current-year date, so the confirmation it is trading comes from third-party listings updated for 2026 rather than from the operator. Jacó is a town rather than a village, and the beach is long — the pin is the municipal centroid, not the school's door.
