My Khe
My Khe (China Beach) is the soft, sandy home break of all six Da Nang surf schools, and the only reason Vietnam appears in a surf guide at all. A short northeast-monsoon window (Oct–Mar) brings small, forgiving whitewater and the occasional knee-to-waist-high peak; the rest of the year it's flat. surf-forecast.com warns surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips on bigger days, consistent with the seasonal-rip hazard noted below.
