São Lourenço
The northernmost break of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve, and the one that holds the most size — a long right off a rock platform well out from the beach, with a vertical take-off that mellows into multiple sections. Sources disagree on how big it holds: WannaSurf says 10ft+, local guides say up to 5 metres.

Find my Level →Beginner notes
Not a beginner wave despite the softer inside — the take-off is steep, the paddle is long, and clean-up sets from the west push surfers to the sides of the bay. The heavy shore break at high tide is the specific danger getting in and out. Treat Level 5 as the floor even though one source describes the inside as longboard-friendly.
