Surfboard is 'treated as a checked bag' — no dedicated surfboard surcharge, but it counts against the normal checked-bag fee schedule; standard oversize ($150) / overweight ($50–175) surcharges apply if it exceeds the normal piece limits (50 lb/23 kg, 62 in/157 cm circumference). One surfboard per case, up to 6 ft/183 cm in length; a hard-sided case is recommended; items over 70 lb/32 kg are not accepted as checked baggage at all.
