North Shore Ohana School of Surfing
The only Haleʻiwa school here that sells anything beyond a beginner lesson — an advanced surf tour for people who can already surf, alongside kids’ tandem and group formats.

About this camp
A Haleʻiwa school teaching at Chun's Reef and Puaʻena Point Beach Park, and the one in this group with the widest ladder: open group, one-to-one, two-person private, a kids' tandem session where a child rides with an instructor, and — unusually for the North Shore — an advanced surf tour priced well above the lessons, aimed at people who can already surf and want guiding rather than teaching. Group tiers run from three to five, six to eight, and nine or more, so larger parties are catered for explicitly rather than by negotiation. All prices are published in dollars as from-figures. In the winter months the teachable option on this coast is Puaʻena Point, the sheltered cove that works while the outer reefs are far beyond any lesson. Honest caveats: lessons only, no accommodation, no weekly product. The advanced tour is a guided session and its content will depend entirely on the day's conditions — on a big December swell the honest answer for most visitors is that the good waves here are not accessible to them at all, whatever is booked. No business street address is published, only teaching beaches, so the pin is Haleʻiwa Beach Park, immediately alongside Puaʻena Point. Recency is evidenced by blog posts dated January 2026 and a live booking system.
