About this camp
The school at the northern, more protected end of the Margaret River region, accredited by Surfing Australia and pitched at beginners through early intermediates. It is the only listing in this region that sells a multi-session course rather than only single lessons: a 3-day course at A$165 per person, three sessions of 90 minutes to two hours, which is the closest thing on this coast to the progressive week a surf camp elsewhere would sell you. Single rates are A$65 per person for a group lesson with a three-person minimum, A$130 for an hour one-to-one and A$150 for ninety minutes, A$80 per person for a private group, and A$110 down to A$55 per child for under-tens depending on group size. Women's surfaris are advertised as weekend and six-day trips but carry no published price. Prices are in Australian dollars and are not converted here. One caveat worth stating plainly: there is no online booking system — the school takes bookings by phone. Yallingup Beach itself is an exposed reef that works best on SW groundswell and tends to go flat through summer, so confirm conditions when you book. No accommodation is bundled, though the school links to places to stay nearby.
