About this camp
Best for travellers who want transparent, itemised pricing rather than a quote-on-request. La Buga is first a PADI dive operation — tank dives, Discover Scuba, Open Water through Divemaster courses — that also runs surf lessons: a 3-hour group lesson (minimum two people) is $60, dropping to $55 each for two lessons or more and $50 each for three or more; a private lesson is $95; full-day board rental is $20 (ID required); SUP and kayak rental are also available by the hour or day. There is no lodging bundled in — this is lessons and gear only, based out of their Main Street shop. The honest trade-off is that surf is clearly the secondary business here behind diving, so don't expect a dedicated surf-camp social scene, but the published, itemised pricing is unusually rare for Bocas.
