Careneros Point
The long left point on Isla Carenero, a three-minute boat ride from Bocas Town. Per the Sol Bungalows Bocas surf guide, this is an intermediate-to-advanced wave that can run from the outer peak all the way to the inside on good days, with the far outside section locals-only and exceptionally shallow — paddling past the main takeoff is a real hazard, not a beginner spot. Coordinates for the point are agreed by surf-forecast.com and OpenStreetMap's Carenero Island boundary. Two separate, gentler beginner waves sit nearby in the same bay — Old Man's and Black Rock — and are the ones local surf schools actually teach lessons on; no independent map source yet publishes a coordinate for either distinct from this point, so they are not listed as their own spots here.
