Red Frog Beach
The best-known beach on Isla Bastimentos, named for the red poison-dart frogs in the surrounding forest, and one of the most-visited spots in the archipelago. The wave is a fast beach close-out rather than the gentle wave the crowds might suggest — one Bocas surf guide specifically warns that reef patches are scattered through the sand along this stretch.
